Leviticus 23 describes God giving Israel 8 holy times (or festivals) to remind them that he was the One who not only redeemed them, but also sustained them. As we go through each of these 8, we, living on this side of the cross, will also see something the Israelites did not see clearly at the time. We’ll see how every one of these holy times ultimately finds its fulfillment in Jesus and how that reality should affect our daily living.
